Juan is an assistant professor of Economics at the IÉSEG School of Management (Paris campus), and an affiliate of the Lille Économie Management research lab (CNRS UMR-9221). He received his BS and MS in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia), and his PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2020. His research involves topics in development and labor economics, with special interest on education, trade, and policy evaluation in developing economies.
