Juan Felipe is a Research Specialist for IPA Colombia. In this role, he works on research projects focused on understanding and reducing organized crime in Medellín. Previously, as a Senior Field Manager and Senior Research Associate, he coordinated data collection for multiple IPA projects. Before joining IPA, he worked as a social worker and researcher for the Medellín Mayor’s Office in the area of crime prevention. Juan Felipe holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Universidad EAFIT and an undergraduate degree in Commercial and Marketing Administration from Institución Universitaria Esumer.
