As part of the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Aldaba is involved in research on various public health topics like tuberculosis, child abuse, immunization practices and vaccine-preventable diseases like Japanese encephalitis, rubella and dengue. She has been involved in the conduct of various clinical trials and advocacy programs on smoking cessation, tuberculosis control and early pediatric literacy development.
