Jorge Cuartas is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and the Department of Psychology at Universidad de los Andes, the director of the Catalyzing Action for Resilient Ecologies (CARE) lab, Advisor in the Center on Early Childhood at Stanford University, and Research Affiliate at the NYU Global TIES for Children Center. He holds a Ph.D. in Education and Human Developmentfrom Harvard University, an Ed.M. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University, an M.Sc. in Economics from Universidad de los Andes, and a B.Sc. in Economics from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
