Jhoan is a Research Associate for IPA Colombia. Before joining IPA, Jhoan was a UN volunteer and supported the Colombian Foreign Ministry in the identification and characterization of refugee claimants in the context of the Venezuelan migration crisis. Jhoan holds a BA in Economics and a BA in Government and Public Affairs from Universidad de Los Andes.
