Ian McDonnell supports IPA’s Social Protection Program as a Senior Program Associate. Prior to joining IPA, he spent several years as a project manager conducting CATI, CAPI, and SMS-based survey research and M&E projects for international development clients. Ian managed education and youth-related programs while teaching high school Mathematics as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mozambique and also worked for several years as a research associate at a DC-based consulting firm. Ian holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Colby College and an MA in International Affairs from the University of Maine.
