Hannah Trachtman is fifth-year PhD student in economics with research interests in development, behavioral, and health economics. She is particularly interested in the economic implications of limited attention and habit formation for health campaigns, development policy, and charitable giving. Her dissertation uses a field experiment to understand how health campaigns interact with one another in “equilibrium.” She has two active research projects related to rural labor markets and poverty alleviation in Ghana, and two new projects on crowd-out and disaster fatigue in charitable giving.
