German works as a Senior Research Associate at IPA Mexico. He has extensive experience conducting qualitative and mixed-methods research on crime and justice, early child development, and forest conservation. At IPA, he has led the creation and development of qualitative research protocols and mixed methods training for Latin American staff. German holds two Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Political Science from Universidad de los Andes.
