Francesco Cecchi is an associate professor at the Department of Development Economics of Wageningen University, in the Netherlands, and Land Economy Departmental Fellow at the University of Cambridge, in the UK. His main field of research is development economics, with a particular interest in behavioral and experimental economics. In his current research, he focuses on microfinance, insurance and risk mitigation.
