Frances Kimmins works for the International Rescue Committee an International NGO working in crisis and conlfict affected countries where rural women invariably are involved in farming to restore their food security and livelihoods. She is working with female and male farmers in Uganda, Zimbabwe, Cote D’Ivoire, Myanmar, Central African Republic and we put emphasis on rigorous research, evaluation and learning on how to provide safe effective agricultural based opportunties for women that can contribute to well being as well as economic outcomes.
