Emily Beam is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Vermont and a research fellow at IZA@LISER. She is a development economist whose research focuses on employment, education, and social inclusion in low- and middle-income countries, including social protection and graduation programs for ultra-poor households, childcare access and quality, labor market discrimination, and remote education technologies.
