Elodie Djemaï is an assistant professor (tenured) in Economics at Paris-Dauphine. 

She received her PhD in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics, under the supervision of Jean-Paul Azam. Her dissertation consists in three essays on the economics of HIV/AIDS. She did a postdoctoral fellowship at the Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan.

Her research interests are in health topics, poverty and demography in developing countries particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa.
