Dr. Elizabeth Anderson is a Senior Research and Evaluation Manager based in the U.S. She manages research for the Freedom Fund’s hotspots in Brazil and sub-Saharan Africa and is a steering committee member for the Monitoring and Evaluation of Trafficking in Persons (METIP) community of practice.

Prior to joining the Freedom Fund, Elizabeth was a Research Scientist at the International Center for Research on Women where she led research on child, early, and forced marriage, reproductive health and rights, and gender-based violence. She is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Mozambique and an alumnus of AmeriCorps in the U.S.-Mexico border region.

Elizabeth holds a PhD in Public Health and an MPH from the University of Arizona where her research focused on sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and vector-borne infectious disease.
