Daniel Paravisini is a Professor of Finance at the London School or Economics. He was previously the Gary Winnick and Martin Granoff Associate Professor of Business at the Graduate School of Business of Columbia University. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has devoted in his research particular attention to the incentives of agents in financial institutions and to the role of banks in the transmission and amplification of real shocks, with a focus on the effect of credit fluctuations on international trade.
