Claire Watt Rothschild, MS is a PhD student in the University of Washington Department of Epidemiology. She received her MS in Global Health and Population from the Harvard School of Public Health and her BA in Human Biology from Stanford University. Under the supervision of Dr. Grace John-Stewart, Dr. Alison Drake, and Dr. Jennifer Unger, Claire’s dissertation research focuses on using mobile technology to improve maternal, child, and reproductive health data and outcomes in Kenya. Prior to coming to UW, Claire worked in global health program implementation and evaluation with the Population Council in Kenya, Partners In Health in Rwanda, and Stanford University’s Center for Health Policy. Most recently, Claire worked as the head of research and evaluation for Jacaranda Health, a Kenya-based maternal healthcare organization.
