Celine is a Research Scientist at IPA’s Applied Research & Methods group, focusing on methodological studies improving the quality of data collected by IPA. As part of the Research Methods Initiative, she currently studies survey modes, enumerator training, and the measurement of soft skills. She obtained a PhD in Survey Methodology from the University of Leuven and Master’s degrees in Management Information Systems from the University of Antwerp, Statistics from the University of Leuven, and Data, Economics, and Development Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has a background in international public opinion and social science surveys and conducted research on gender beliefs and gender gaps in STEM education in Rwanda.
