Cecilia is a Program Associate in IPA's Peace & Recovery program, supporting policy outreach, communications, fundraising, and project development. Before joining IPA, she worked at the Center for the Study of Security and Drugs (CESED) at Universidad de los Andes as a researcher and research manager in the security area, leading projects on violence, gender-based violence, drug policy, and security in Colombia. She also held roles as a research assistant and research manager at the Centro de Estudios sobre Desarrollo Económico (CEDE), the think tank Fedesarrollo, and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Cecilia holds a BA in Economics with a minor in Computational Mathematics and an MA in Economics from Universidad de los Andes.
