Calvin Chiu is a former Senior Research Associate at IPA Zambia. He is currently working on developing an innovative savings intervention to encourage pregnant women to save for safe delivery in rural areas in Southern Province. Previously, he worked at the Health Economics and Epidemiology Research Office in Johannesburg on the South African Investment Case for HIV/TB. Calvin has an MA in Economics and a BA in Economics and International Relations from Boston University. He is currently pursuing his PhD at University of California, Berkeley.
