Senior Research Associate
Aye Myat Thi is an Associate Research Manager at IPA Myanmar, working on a child domestic worker project conducted by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). In terms of research, she is involved in the operation of research projects conducted by the Union and National TB/AIDS Control programs. She is a doctor with training in public health, having earned her MBBS in Myanmar and her MPH from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Aye Myat has worked for community-based TB projects and TB-HIV clinics in Myanmar for more than four years. She was a research coordinator of a TB-malnutrition inpatient study based in the Philippines in collaboration with Nagasaki University and LSHTM. Her particular research interests include TB and lung health.
