Avi Ahuja is a PhD candidate in the Wilf Family Department of Politics at New York University. His research interests include foreign aid, development finance, political behavior, and governance with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa. Avi has conducted experimental studies in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Kenya, and Liberia. Some of this research has been published in the American Political Science Review.  Previously, Avi has worked with the World Bank's Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) unit, Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). He holds a Masters in Public Policy (with honors) from the University of Chicago, an undergraduate degree in finance with honors from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, and was a Young India Fellow at Ashoka University.
