Astrid is a Projects and Operations Associate for IPA's Right-Fit Evidence (RFE) Unit, based in Colombia. In this role, she supports the RFE Unit worldwide, facilitating project and operational deployment. Previously, she worked in the humanitarian sector assisting displaced people, migrants, and Venezuelan refugees with the Danish Refugee Council and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Additionally, she contributed to the protection of human rights defenders with Freedom House. Astrid holds a BA in Political Science from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
