Annemarie Smith works on new business development, ensures the success and impact of IPA's Asia programs, and provides support to the Global Programs department. Prior to joining IPA in 2015, she worked as a journalist for various newspapers and online media platforms. Additionally, she has experience as a Nobel Peace Scholar and as a research assistant at Yale University and the Public Policy Forum. She received an MA in Middle Eastern History from Yale University and a BA in History from St. Olaf College.
