Andrea is a Research Associate at IPA Colombia. In this role, she supports research projects focused on understanding and reducing organized crime in Medellín. Prior to joining IPA, Andrea held positions at the National Planning Department (Colombia), the Central Bank of Colombia, and CEDE at Universidad de los Andes, where she led and supported research in areas such as access to justice, gender, and political economy. Andrea holds a BA in Economics from Universidad Externado de Colombia and is currently pursuing an MSc in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.
