Amber Peterman is a Multi-country Impact Evaluation Specialist. She is affiliated with UNICEF's Evaluation Office based in Nairobi, the Transfer Project at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Cash Transfer and Intimate Partner Violence Research Collaborative and the Center for Global Development non-resident fellow. Her research provides methodological and policy-relevant evidence linking gender and development in resource-poor settings. For example: How are poverty, social norms and experience of violence against women and children linked, and what potential do economic and behavior change programs have in mitigating risk? How can methodological improvements help capture gendered-measurement of agency, violence and harmful practices?
