Allan B. I. Bernardo is Distinguished University Professor and University Fellow at De La Salle University. His current research focuses on lay theories of culture (specifically, polyculturalism) and intergroup/intercultural processes; hope and well-being in Asian societies; cultural and social psychological aspects of learning motivation and achievement; and socioeconomic inequality. He is a Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences and of the Asian Association of Social Psychology, and Academician of the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines.
