Anna Wilke is a PhD candidate in the Political Science Department of Columbia University. Her research is focused on the political economy of development with an emphasis on Sub-Saharan Africa. She has recently completed a large-scale field experiment on violence against women in rural Uganda. Her current research projects deal with public goods provision and the interplay of formal and informal institutions in the provision of security.
