The PharmAccess Foundation is a non-profit organization based in the Netherlands, with country offices in Tanzania, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, and Ghana, employing over 70 persons. It seeks to improve access to basic health care in sub-Saharan Africa, specifically including HIV treatment. Its programs are aimed to improve health infrastructure, increase the number of well-trained physicians, nurses, and administrators, improve coverage by health insurance and workplace programs, and provide intelligence on health concerns.
