Good Neighbour Service Association (GONESA) is a non profit making Non Governmental Organization (NGO) established at 1999 in Kaski District of Nepal. It is affiliated with Social Welfare Council in 1999. It is one of the active members of NGO Federation Nepal. It has been also playing leading role for the organizational development of NGO federation in Kaski district and Western Development Region as well. GONESA was promoted by a group of social workers representing different sectors of society such as teachers, businessman, lawyers, journalists etc. with the aim of assisting national development by extending essential servicessuch as education, basic health and advocacy for human rights and democracy. In the begging it has started activities in Kaski district only, but in course of time it has been extended in six districts of the Western development Region.
