Dorothy is a passionate nutritionist working for the Ministry of Health in Zambia. She coordinates and monitors nutrition programs, and is currently responsible for the Growth Monitoring and Promotion Program (GMP) and the Infant and Young Child Feeding Program (IYCF), among others. Dorothy is also a researcher evaluating the impact of Home-based Growth Charts and Nutritional Supplements on Child Stunting in Zambia. She plays a key role as a liaison person, who connects and effectively represents the Ministry of Health in the project. Dorothy holds a BA in Development Studies from the University of Zambia, a Masters in Public Health from Leeds Buckett University in the United Kingdom, and various certificates in Nutrition.
