The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD), is a Ministry of the Nigerian government that regulates agricultural research, agriculture and natural resources, forestry and veterinary research all over Nigeria. Its mission is to organize and manage the agriculture sector, facilitate agribusiness for increased food security and employment along commodity value chains, and promote agro-industrial development to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
