Shana Warren is the Research Scientist on IPA's Path-to-Scale Research (PSR) team. She is responsible for identifying opportunities to bring evidence-based approaches to development challenges along the path to scale, and serving as a primary investigator (PI) on PSR projects. Her current portfolio focuses on immunization and child health campaigns, social cohesion, and research methods. Shana is currently a PI on vaccine uptake interventions in India, Myanmar, and Sierra Leone. Shana has previously served as an internal resource and co-PI on IPA-led research in response to COVID-19. She came to IPA with extensive fieldwork experience in sub-Saharan Africa. Shana holds a PhD in Politics (New York University), an MA in International Relations (Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies), and a BA in History and French Studies (Rice University).
