AMFI (Association for Microfinance Institutions) is a member based organization with the aim to build the capacity of the Kenyan Microfinance Industry. In its 17 years of existence, AMFI supports the Kenyan microfinance industry by providing services based on 4 pillars: policy advocacy, capacity building, networking and linkages, research and knowledge management. Their members are: Microfinance Banks, Commercial Banks which have a focus on microfinance, Credit Only Microfinance Institutions, Wholesale Microfinance lenders, Developmental Institutions and Sacco’s.
