IPA Research Receives Widespread Coverage After Nobel Announcement
In the wake of Abhijit Banerjee, Esther Duflo, and Michael Kremer being announced as winners of the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, their research has been highlighted by news outlets across the world. IPA has been involved in many of the laureates' studies including school-based deworming in Kenya, a group of six randomized evaluations on microcredit, and nudging farmers to use fertilizer in Kenya. These studies, and several others, have been discussed by a number of news and opinion pieces in outlets including Kenya's Daily Nation, the Times of India, Live Mint, South Africa's Sunday Times, and Bloomberg.
