IPA Tanzania Presents Results of Soapy Water Handwashing Stations Study at Tanzanian Health Summit
Country Representative Rachel Steinacher presented the results of IPA Tanzania’s Soapy Water Handwashing Stations study at the Tanzanian Health Summit. The event brought together over 500 government officials, researchers, and practitioners to discuss how the private and public sectors can increase their collaboration to promote improved health outcomes and systems. The presentation of the study’s results was well-received, eliciting a lively discussion and plans to expand and replicate the study into Tanzania (as the study was originally conducted in Kenya).
