IPA Philippines was honored by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as one of its Outstanding Partners at the 2024 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony held in Manila on August 2. This marks the second consecutive year IPA Philippines has received this award, having also been recognized in 2023.

The award highlights IPA’s commitment to advancing financial inclusion through innovative approaches. BSP specifically recognized IPA for its “pilot study on responsible pricing,” which has been instrumental in shaping policy frameworks and reporting requirements for BSP-supervised institutions.

Through initiatives such as responsible pricing, IPA aims to enhance BSP’s technical capacity to monitor and protect consumer rights, employing advanced data collection methods and more robust data analysis. This recognition reinforces the value of collaboration in fostering financial inclusion and consumer protection.
