IPA Philippines Presentation of Results on the Impact Evaluation of the Community-Driven Development Program
On September 14 2017, principal investigators Amanda Beatty and Aniceto Orbeta presented the results of the impact evaluation of the Community-Driven Development (CDD) program implemented by Department of Social Welfare and Development of the Philippines (DSWD) or locally known as KALAHI-CIDSS (KC). The presentation at the Marble Hall of the Ayuntamiento de Manila was attended by over 40 key stakeholders from various government departments such as DSWD, Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Finance, Department of Budget and Management, and National Economic and Development Authority, as well as international funding agencies like the Millennium Challenge Corporation, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank. Small group discussions followed the presentation on the audience' key takeaways.
