IPA Myanmar Hosts Roundtable on Alternative Dispute Resolution
On November 30, IPA Myanmar hosted its second of a series of roundtables to discuss the potential use of impact evaluations for programming and policy across various sectors in Myanmar. For this roundtable, Alexandra Hartman, Assistant Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at University College London, presented a case study of how a top-down alternative dispute resolution intervention changed how local institutions functioned in post-conflict rural Liberia. Participants from a range of organizations discussed the applicability of experimental evaluations for similar topics in the Myanmar context.
