Oct 15 2013 AFMIN Annual Conference and General Meeting On October 15-18, 2013, the Africa Microfinance Network (AFMIN) held its 2013 Annual Conference and General Meeting in Addis Ababa.AFMIN is an association of microfinance networks in Africa resulting from an initiative led by African microfinance practitioners to create and/or strengthen country-level microfinance networks for the purpose of establishing shared performance standards, institutional capacity and policy change. Oct 10 4th Regional Conference on Financial Education Asobancaria (the banking association of Colombia), in collaboration with FELABAN (the Latin American Federation of Banks), hosted the 4th Regional Conference on Financial Education in Bogota, Colombia on October 10-11, 2013.The event brought together around 200 practitioners and policymakers interested in advancing good practices for consumer protection and financial education.
