Oct 16 IPA Presents at 2020 Financial Inclusion Week Post Teaser Text As part of the 2020 Financial Inclusion Week, IPA’s Rafe Mazer presented on the webinar “Consumer Protection in the Global South: How to make financial inclusion safer for the world's most vulnerable?” hosted by BRAC.The discussion looked at how to better design consumer protection policies to account for the needs and risks of the more vulnerable, such as welfare transfer recipients.Rafe presented recent IPA research on how data sources such as customer care logs or social media can help flag problems as they arise, as well as recent trends in fraud related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
