In 2019, the Director-General of the Rwanda Education Board (REB) requested technical assistance from IPA to support REB’s Teacher Management and Staffing Unit through the creation of an embedded lab to strengthen the use of data and evidence.

On January 10, 2022, the 2021 Zambia Education Evidence Summit brought together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to a) share rigorous evidence that has been collected about innovative approaches to improve learning outcomes, in Zambia and internationally; and b) identify ways in which evidence can be used for better decision-making.This Evidence Day, Day 1 of the Zambia Ministry of Education's Joint Sector Review (JSR) focused on rigorous studies that connect with the ministry’s priority goals.

The Education Evidence for Action (EE4A) Conference 2021 took place on 25th & 26th November, 2021 in Naivasha, Kenya.This biennial event brought together education stakeholders and policymakers to share education evidence and deliberate on key policy issues and priorities in education.
