On March 29 - 30, 2014, the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government held the 2014 Social Enterprise Conference. The event featured a number of panels, case studies, and workshops to discuss pressing challenges and opportunities in social enterprise. Aishwarya Ratan, director of the Financial inclusion Program, participated in a panel titled Simple Technology, Complex Reality: Opportunities and Challenges in Mobile Solutions for Emerging Markets.
