Evidence Repository Integration Proposal

Evidence Repository Integration Proposal

This report presents a strategy for integrating Innovations for Poverty Action’s Embedded Evidence Labs (EdLabs) with the Education Endowment Foundation’s (EEF) evidence repository to strengthen evidence use in global education systems. Drawing on literature reviews, stakeholder interviews, and workshops in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire, it analyzes how EdLabs can link international evidence to local decision-making through systematic and rapid reviews, repositories, and research learning agendas. The report outlines key challenges—such as ad hoc synthesis requests, limited capacity, and low use of global repositories—and identifies opportunities to institutionalize processes, develop local repositories, and connect them to global evidence platforms. It provides a practical blueprint for governments and partners to build sustainable, context-sensitive systems that bridge the gap between research and policy for improved educational outcomes.
