IPA Peru co-hosted the virtual conference "Supporting Human Talent in Peru: Impact Evaluation, Public Policy and Professional Development opportunities at IPA." The conference is part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion actions that IPA Peru is undertaking to promote a more diverse staff. The goal is to contribute to reducing the information gaps between universities around the country, especially those from less privileged backgrounds. During the event, IPA Peru's work was discussed along with the skills that students need to invest in to be eligible for IPA and related organization positions. The event also aimed to motivate students and recently graduated professionals interested in research and development to apply for job opportunities at IPA. La Rotonda Blog, an academic group founded at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos co-hosted the event. IPA LAC-Peru staff presented, including Juan Manuel Hernández-Agramonte (Deputy Regional Director LAC), Barbara Sparrow (Policy Manager), Kelly Montaño (Research Coordinator), and Rayssa Ruiz (Research Associate).
