IPA Philippines Partners with the Department of Education on Data Collection & Management Workshop
On October 25-27, the Department of Education invited IPA Philippines to participate as resource speakers in its capacity-building workshop on Data Collection and Management. This is Phase II of DepEd’s M&E Capacity Building Program which aims to build the technical expertise of their M&E personnel and program owners in establishing their respective M&E plans. Phase I was conducted in 2021 where IPA also led sessions. In this Phase II workshop, participants were expected to refine their chosen policy’s theory of change and develop a data collection and management plan. More than 20 participants from the DepEd Planning Service Unit completed the three-day workshop. IPA led three sessions: Tara Marwah (Policy and Project Development Manager) gave a recap on the theory of change, and Emma Davies spoke about Quantitative and Qualitative Data Collection Methods.
