IPA collaborates with local partners to implement activities in Costa Rica. Recent collaborations include partnerships with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to generate evidence on effective solutions to challenges in education, child development, and girls’ participation in STEM. During the COVID-19 lockdown, IPA supported the MOE and IDB in the design, implementation, and evaluation of an information campaign for caregivers of preschool students. IPA has also partnered with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture on agriculture education, the Investment Promotion Agency of Costa Rica on workforce training, and UNHCR on refugee integration.
