On May 22 – 23, 2014, the OECD, the Capital Markets Board, the Treasury, and Central Bank of Turkey held a conference on global and European trends in financial education. The event focused on new challenges, innovations, and measures of success for financial education in Europe and Turkey. Beniamino Savonitto, Associate Director for the Financial Inclusion Program, participated in a panel on the role of financial education for empowering migrant workers and their families.
