This page lists research projects that are being developed by IPA and others. Our goal is to document active studies taking place on COVID-19’s socio-economic impacts—and results, as they come in—in order to inform researchers and decision-makers working to mitigate the crisis. As this is a public good, the hub contains both IPA and non-IPA studies. Inclusion criteria for the hub can be found here, and new projects and questionnaires can be submitted here.

Digital Education Response to COVID-19 in Pakistan

Researchers aim to experimentally evaluate the effect of interventions offering encouragement and technological support in easing the transition to digital learning and helping to ensure that children continue to learn.Specifically, researchers will provide free access to a student learning platform with curated digital learning content to 600 low cost private schools, and evaluate the extent to which an encouragement call to school-owners and offers of technology support to teachers, students, and households alleviate the barriers to adoption and utilization of digital learning.
