Suraia has been a part of IPA's RMGPP team since 2012 and has worked with more than 100 readymade garments factories. She is responsible for leading the communication between stakeholders (factory management and owners, factory workers, policymakers, and funders) as well as providing clerical and administrative support to the team. Her work has contributed to six major studies in behavioral and development economics dealing with women's empowerment and workers' well-being and productivity. Suraia holds a Master's degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Business.
