Sharada Ramanathan serves as Knowledge Manager, Poverty Probability Index (PPI^®) at Innovations for Poverty Action. In this role, she provides technical support and advice to organisations implementing the PPI. Additionally, she supports communication and training initiatives for the PPI. She previously served as Senior Lead, Programs at Grameen Foundation where she oversaw pan-Asia strategic initiatives including developing an earned revenue strategy for the region, identifying opportunities for interventions in new markets, and managing marketing and communication for Grameen Foundation’s India-based subsidiary. She previously worked at Citibank N.A and Kotak Life Insurance in India. She holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering, and a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
