Sana Khan coordinates Dean Karlan's research portfolio and manages a team of Research Analysts and Coordinators based in New Haven and various IPA country offices.. Sana started working with IPA in 2009 as a Project Coordinator in Ethiopia on the Targeting the Ultra-Poor and Industrial Labor in Ethiopia projects. She subsequently worked with the World Bank in Tanzania before rejoining IPA in her current position in 2013. Sana holds a MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with a concentration in International Development and Economics and a BA in Economics and Psychology from Trinity College, CT.
